Postcards, crabs and printing

Hello! Nice to see you.  Exciting news! After more than one (let's not say how many) attempts, I have made it into a Crafty Fox Market at the Dogstar in Brixton on Sunday December 7th. When's that? SUNDAY DECEMBER 7th! Put it in your diaries my dearies. Not that I won't remind you several times before then but just in cases...

So the Christmas market prep has begun in earnest and I have been spending much time at PPS getting well messy.  The Sea (you remember The Sea?) is printed and happily on sale at Studio 73 in Brixton Village.  Soon S73 will also have a jazzy new website and I will have my own page there. Hooray.  Also soon, The Sea will be available from my Etsy shop but if you just can't wait to get your mitts on one, drop me an email.

I've also been most busy drawing and printing some postcards and boxes that will be sold in sets for sending to all the folks what you love. Printing cardboard boxes is most satisfying. I am even looking forward to the folding of said boxes!

The postcards are of nostalgic methods of communication and have hand-lettered greetings on them. Woot!

Some new greeting cards are in the works, including the one down there at the bottom of the page with a little hermit crab upping sticks.

There's a new Brixton Bugle out next week! They will also be crowdfunding soon so's they can get (and pay) a full time news editor to keep all the Brixtony news coming your way. Keep your eyes peeled! I shall let you know the links when they appear.

Twas' an arty week in London.  Went to see Artist Beer Visions at 71A which was all kinds of aces. And also Saskatchewan - an exhibition recommended by my 97 year old gran who is totes down with the kids.

Clever clogs Ray Stanbrook has now got brilliant cards of his London neighbourhood illos.  Check them out in his Etsy shop. They are brill.

Another clever pal, Miss South has just published her second cookbook this year! The first one was Recipes from Brixton Village (I may have gone on about doing the drawings for that one quite a lot) and this one is called Slow Cooked and comes out on November 6th.  If you like food, you should DEFINITELY get one!

Soooo much newwwss! What's your news? Need some drawing done? Drop me a line.
