Pop up shops, yarn and darkness.

Whew! What a week! Suddenly, the need for Christmas stock and drawings was upon me and I ended up practically living at Peckham Print Studio!  Which was kind of nice actually. It is a lovely place.

Here I am at PPS trying to sort out printing wrapping paper from a roll.  Challenging.

In other fun news, I made some Christmasy adaptations to the Yarn in the City logo for the girls' Bristol yarn crawl next month.  I am most pleased with the hat!

The clocks have gone back and we have descended into autumnal dark times but hey, that means Halloween! My most favourite of all the holidays! So the last two bits of drawing I did this week were of a life-sized Mariah Carey (for my dear friend's Halloween birthday) and on my face. Both of these were pretty fun, though it is most difficult to remember not to scratch your nose when there is makeup all over it.

This was at the end of the night - post dancing and shenanigans.

There are 3 varieties of the gift wrap and they will be available at Diverse Gifts in Brixton and at Crafty Fox Market on December 7th (I did say I'd remind you!).

There is a jazzy new pop up box shop in West Norwood which is a collaboration between L'Arche, The Open Works and Makerhood. It is well snazzy and has goodies from about 25 different designers and makers including moi.  The shop will be open Wednesday and Thursday evenings, Saturdays and Feast Sundays.  I got to play shop assistant on Sunday, which was pretty good fun. Here are some lovely pictures take by Lenny Carter.

I also finished printing and boxing postcards this week and boxes of 16 will soon be for sale at Studio 73 in Brixton Village which just had it's 4th birthday! Cake all round!

Hope you enjoyed pumpkin fun and that your fireworks night is whizzy and bangy.

If you need some drawing doing, I am just an email / phone call / text / poke / arm's length away.
